Light Kings Services Price List

Light Kings will install lights that you own or lights that you purchase from us. We do not rent lights. Light Kings will install traditional Christmas lights, LED lights and LED icicles.

If you choose to have your own lights installed, they must be in good condition and in good working order. Cords must also be in good condition with no cracks or frays in the outer casing. We recommend that you test your lights prior to your installation so that extra charges for changing burned out bulbs or replacing strands that malfunction will not be applied to your invoice.

A service charge (minimum $150) will be charged to re-visit your home to replace malfunctioning bulbs or strands that have not been purchased from Light Kings within two seasons.

Light Kings will not install lights that are worn or too well-used, as they can be a fire hazard. We reserve the right to replace clips and cords that are brittle, worn or sub-standard quality.

We GUARANTEE lights that have been purchased from Light Kings for two seasons, provided the lights have been taken down between seasons.

We GUARANTEE the workmanship of our installations throughout the Holiday Season until January 15th. If a strand that was installed in the current season falls out of place prior to January 15th, our crews will re-visit your home and reinstall it free of charge.

Installation prices are calculated on a "per strand" basis and are subject to a minimum charge as follows:

Christmas Light Installations

Trees	Pole Installation (up to 20 feet)	$15 per strand
	Climber Installation (20 to 30 feet)	$20 per strand
	Aerial Truck Installation (30-50 feet)	$25 per strand
	Trunk Wrap	$25 per strand
Service Calls	$150 per hour (minimum 1 hour) to re-secure lights that have not been taken down between seasons or to replace bulbs or strands that were not purchased from Light Kings within two seasons.
Out of Town	Outside Calgary City Limits Trip Charge - $60 and up.

Clips, cords, and timers may be required for installation. Approximately one-half to one bag of clips is required per strand of lights, depending on the type of light to be installed. Please see our Products page for pricing.

Christmas Light Take-downs

Taking your lights down between seasons is highly recommended for several reasons:

Your LED lights will fade in the sun and will not match any new strands that you purchase in the future.
Your clips become dry and brittle causing your lights to fall out of place. The minimum charge for installation applies to re-secure lights that have not been taken down.
Hail will damage your bulbs and your clips.

Light Kings warranty for installation and lights does not apply if lights are left up between seasons.
